Prayer Box
This year for Christmas, my sister gave me a "God box." It's one of the most touching gifts I've ever received from her before. It's nothing too fancy--it's just a white box with flowers attached to the top, a seashell on the inside, and a few little Bible verses written on it. It was such an unexpected gift from her, and it really brought me to tears (but naturally I blinked them back so they wouldn't fall--I'm not a big fan of crying in front of others). Every thing that she put on that box meant something special to me. The flowers came from my grandmother's sewing room (she passed away in 2006), and the seashell on the inside came from the beach when my sisters, my brother, mama, and I were all together for the last time (my brother was killed in Iraq in September last year).
